
The BG1700 TITAN XL is SMP Technik’s blade grinding machine dedicated to aerospace applications. Designed for machining the most demanding materials — Inconel 718, titanium and superalloys — it guarantees an aerospace-grade surface finish on blades up to 2000 mm between centers. Its 50 kW spindle and 0.0001 mm resolution on all axes ensure consistent precision, even on the most complex blade geometries. Its 4- or 6-station wheel changer and integrated diamond dressing wheel allow tools to be fully completed without any machine downtime. A standard BG1700 version, with a 1700 mm table, is also available for shorter blades.
